Our Mission

By uniting the members of the great Canadiens family and by teaming up with the community, we encourage physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among underprivileged youth from 4 to 17 years old.

BBB Rinks

During the 2017-18 season we inaugurated two new rinks -- one in Trois-Rivières, and the other in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough -- to celebrate Montreal's 375th anniversary.

Since 2009, we hold ice-skating clinics for first- and second-grade students in communities where our rinks are built.

In March, we hosted an ice-skating party at the Bell Centre to reward all of the kids who participated in our program. Each child was presented with a pair of skates and a helmet so that they could continue to exercise and improve their skating skills.

BBB at camp

We launched a summer program in collaboration with the Le P'tit Bonheur summer camp, located in the heart of the Laurentians. The goal of this program is to provide a unique opportunity to hundreds of underprivileged children from grades 5 and 6 to experience the magic of summer camping for the first time in their lives.

BBB Skills

A free, simple and flexible platform offered to teachers and animators across the province, providing them with all the practical tools they need to teach kids how to skate.

BBB Ball Hockey

In collaboration with schools and day camps located near our BBB rinks, we host ball hockey programs, with an emphasis on basic skills. The goal is to equip kids adequately so that they can go on and enjoy the sport on their own.

Thanks to Jonathan Drouin and Shea Weber's suites, each season we welcome hundreds of children to the Bell Centre to watch a Canadiens game.

Champions
for life

Running, jumping, climbing and throwing: These abilities are the basic skills required by children to enable them to participate in sports and active leisure activities. We introduce this program to schools in underprivileged neighbourhoods to teach children about basic physical activities.

Hockey de rue is a joint street hockey tournament co-hosted with the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA to benefit underprivileged kids in Greater Montreal.
