Hockey de rue

Together for the Kids

The Foundation and the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA have teamed up to fulfill our shared goal of improving kids’ lives. Hockey de rue is a joint street hockey tournament benefiting underprivileged kids in Greater Montreal. Together we help kids realize their potential through vital programs that serve the local community.

“Every year when tournament day arrives, I always have a smile on my face because I know that the people who will be here will have a great deal of fun. Each year the event gets bigger because people care and they believe in the cause.” – Patrice Brisebois, Montreal Canadiens Alumni

Since its inception, the event already raised over $1 million to get underprivileged kids active.

The tournament is played in Côte-des-Neiges on five rinks on Westbury Avenue in front of the YM-YWHA. Teams play in two divisions: Recreational and Competitive – with amazing prizes for the tournament winners and the fundraising winners.
