For the Canadiens family, the annual golf tournament is an opportunity to mingle with its partners and contributors, to fraternize with clients and friends of the Club and all together, have some fun before the season starts.
But it is also a major fundraising event for the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation that generates significant revenue that enables it to achieve goals and continue to meet the growing demands of support.
Since the Foundation was created in 2000, more than $9.6 million has been raised during this tournament. Thanks to the generosity of partners and participants, hundreds of organizations and thousands of children benefit from it.
The 47th edition of the tournament
On September 11, our annual golf tournament was held under sunny skies at Club de golf Laval-sur-le-Lac. The 47th edition ended on a high note, with a record $855,000 raised. The day’s success is the fruit of the exemplary collaboration and support of our partners, donors, organization members and volunteers, who all team up to help young people in need.
