The Foundation receives record donation of $760,339 from Desjardins Securities

The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation celebrated the exceptional generosity of Desjardins Securities on Monday, September 23, during its annual recognition evening. This special event, held at the Bell Centre, brought together the leading donors of the 2023-24 campaign to unveil a record donation of $760,339.

To highlight their support for the Foundation and the cause of children, employees, wealth managers, and loyal clients were invited to a pre-game cocktail event, alongside Montreal Canadiens player Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and numerous Canadiens Alumni. Attendees also got to enjoy a resounding  5-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers for the Habs’ first preseason game.

For 22 years, Desjardins Securities has been an invaluable partner of the Foundation, tirelessly supporting initiatives aimed at helping children in need. Through this vital collaboration, over $9.8 million has been raised to invest in quality sports programs, equipment, and infrastructure, enabling thousands of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle.

The Canadiens Children’s Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to Desjardins Securities for its unwavering commitment to youth and its significant impact in advancing its mission for more than two decades.
