For the past 24 years, Desjardins Securities has been by the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation’s side, helping us make a difference in the lives of children across Quebec.

The 12th edition of its annual golf tournament brought together participants, partners and Canadiens alumni at Club de golf de la Vallée du Richelieu. Thanks to the generosity and commitment of Desjardins' wealth managers, clients and suppliers, $360,000 was raised in support of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation.

This significant contribution will help support the Foundation’s initiatives, including our various Bleu Blanc Bouge programs, creating more opportunities for children to get active, play and develop healthy habits in safe and accessible community spaces. It will also help support organizations across Quebec that share our commitment to giving all children equal opportunities to be active.

About the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation

The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation is a nonprofit organization that encourages physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among underprivileged youth aged 4 to 17 years old. Since its inception in 2000, the Foundation has invested over $54.4 million in the community. The Foundation fulfills its mandate in two ways: first, through a unique flagship project - the Bleu Blanc Bouge programs - which consists of building and activating community refrigerated and multisport rinks; secondly, by providing financial support to more than 1000 charitable endeavors, working for the well-being of the most vulnerable children across the province of Quebec, whose projects and programs enable children to adopt healthy lifestyles by being more active.
