Our Bleu Blanc Bouge rinks
An active legacy
The construction and donation of Bleu Blanc Bouge rinks primarily aim to develop healthy lifestyle habits through physical activity among youth in the neighbourhoods where they are located. The Foundation's contribution addresses a critical need for quality sports infrastructure in underserved areas and supports local organizations in a coordinated effort to benefit children in their community. Each rink provides an active and inclusive space, as well as a safe and accessible place for everyone, contributing to the vitality and well-being of local children and families.

High-quality multisports facilities, accessible all year round
Built according to NHL standards, the infrastructure provides the necessary versatility to enjoy other sports according to the time of year. Predominantly used for skating and hockey from November to mid-March, the rinks become an ideal playground for disciplines such as ball hockey, basketball, soccer, pickleball or introducing kids to riding a bike during the spring, summer and fall months. The Foundation also contributes to the creation of an equipment bank for those who can't afford it by offering 100 pairs of skates, 100 helmets and 100 hockey sticks as part of the infrastructure donation.
The infrastructures built since 2019 are distinguished by the use of a new energy efficient refrigeration system powered by CO2 and by their universally accessible facilities for the practice of sledge hockey.
