Would you like to wish someone a happy birthday or welcome a fellow fan to the Bell Centre? You can do so in a unique way during a Canadiens home game!

Celebrate a special moment in front of over 21,000 fans on the big screen at the Bell Centre!
Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, graduation, a warm welcome, or a message of love or encouragement for fellow fans or the Canadiens, scoreboard messages are a fun way to add to the game-day experience.
Messages appear during the second intermission, with only seven spots available per game on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guidelines
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all fans, messages must follow the Canadiens’ content guidelines and be appropriate for a live, family audience.
All scoreboard messages must:
- Be submitted at least 24 hours before the game
- Be 100 characters or less
- Be family-friendly, positive, and uplifting
- Be directed at fellow attendee(s) or to encourage the Canadiens
- Not include emojis, logos, or images
Acceptable categories of messages include:
- Celebrating milestones or achievements (birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, graduations, etc.)
- Welcoming fellow attendee(s)
- Expressing love or appreciation for someone (including Canadiens players or the team)
The following will not be displayed:
- Marriage or relationship proposals
- References to opposing NHL cities or teams
- Company or brand names
- Death notices or “in memory of” tributes
- Messaging unrelated to the game or attending the game
A $100 fee applies, with 100% of proceeds donated to the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations, no tax receipt will be issued.
The Montreal Canadiens and its Foundation reserve the right to edit messages for clarity and conciseness while preserving their original intent, or to refuse any request they deem inappropriate.
