Playoff Watch Parties at Videotron Centre Raise $180,000

Benefiting the Quebec Social Pediatrics Centre, the Quebec Remparts Scholarship Fund and the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation

Quebec City, Thursday, May 28, 2026 – Following the tremendous success of its second-round playoff watch parties, Videotron Centre is proud to announce a $180,000 donation, to be shared equally among the Quebec Social Pediatrics Centre, the Quebec Remparts Scholarship Fund and the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. Made possible by the thousands of fans who gathered at the arena throughout the series, the initiative generated remarkable enthusiasm and was carried out with the support of the City of Quebec.

About the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation

The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles among underprivileged youth aged 4 to 17. Since its creation in 2000, the Foundation has invested more than $54.4 million in its programs and through donations to over 1,000 organizations working to improve the well-being of vulnerable children across Quebec.

The Foundation fulfills its mission in two ways: first, through its flagship Bleu Blanc Bouge program, which focuses on building and activating refrigerated multi-sport community rinks, and second, by providing financial support to organizations whose projects and programs help children adopt healthier lifestyles through physical activity.

About the Quebec Remparts Scholarship Fund

The Quebec Remparts Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization funded through 50/50 ticket sales at Quebec Remparts games held at Videotron Centre, as well as proceeds from select silent auctions organized throughout the season. The Fund provides players with the academic support needed for their educational success by covering expenses related to their studies during their time with the organization. Certain players may also qualify for scholarships at the end of their junior hockey careers, based on criteria established by team management.
