Montreal Canadiens' Annual Golf Tournament
Considered the Canadiens signature event in terms of fundraising initiatives, the Montreal Canadiens Annual Golf Tournament is a much anticipated gathering for the team's partners, players and the members of the media. Once again, the sun was shining over the links at the Laval-sur-le-Lac Golf Club. This annual celebrated event, presented on September 5, 2007, enjoyed tremendous success with $350,000 raised for the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.
Yvan Cournoyer Golf Tournament
Yvan Cournoyer along with several celebrities from the hockey hosted the 2007 edition of this golf event on Thursday, August 2 at the Fontainebleau Golf Club. This year's event raised $50,000. Mr. Cournoyer donated $5,000 to Mira and $45,000 to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.
Guy Carbonneau Tournament
The Montreal Canadiens Head Coach Guy Carbonneau decided to donate the proceeds of his golf tournament to the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. This year's event raised $50,000 and was held at the St-Raphaël golf course on July 30, 2007.
